    Job Description

    Syndeo has an opening for an ASSEMBLER / SALES ASSOCIATE for a local outdoor recreational products company. 

    • Days are subject to scheduling but may include Monday through Sunday in the late Spring and early Summer
    • Beginning pay of $14 PER HOUR WITH A RAISE AFTER 90 DAYS.

     

    Duties Include

    • Assembling and installing playground equipment in both commercial and residential settings
    • Use of hand tools and equipment
    • Site set up and tear down
    • Engage with customers via email, phone, and in-person to sell products and services. 
    • Keep product information materials stocked and up-to-date. 
    • Maintain and update installation calendar with all relevant information. 
    • Communicate with the installation crew leads about project details.
    • Complete weekly tasks related to store upkeep including but not limited to organizing the warehouse, cleaning and landscaping the display lot, building and maintaining store displays, unloading delivery trucks, and housekeeping.

    The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

    • Ability to work outdoors in varying environments
    • Previous experience using hand tools and other equipment
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Must be able to bend over and lift weight, as well as push and pull weight.
    • Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time
    • Must be able to operate construction power tools (drill, impact driver, etc.).
    • Must be an active listener, engaging in conversation, and congenial.
    • Must be able to solve problems and communicate clearly.
    • Computer Skills (Excel, Word, and Quickbooks a plus)
    • The ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
    • Valid KS Driver's License preferred
