Job Description
The social media manager is responsible for growing audiences on social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Along with maintaining a posting schedule, he or she will also regularly create platform-specific content including text posts, videos, and graphics. They must have a good eye for trends and an understanding of social media metrics.
Reports to: CEO
Duties:
- Prepares and develops social media content to support and enhance the organization's brand and operations.
- Researches, monitors, posts to, and analyzes social media channels to build a community of followers and enhances interaction.
- Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs.
- Creates actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Tik-Tok and LinkedIn
- Ensures progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others.
- Creates platform analysis reports for management.
- Reputation management.
Skills:
- Copywriting and Content Writing.
- Capturing and Leveraging Brand Voice.
- Experience with Design Software.
- Data Analysis.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- 5 years of social media management experience.
- 5 years of copy-editing experience.
- 3 years in analysis reporting.
- 3 years of experience in Photoshop or InDesign software.
