Description:
Helping collate and review projections and associated documentation for key profit and loss and balance sheet items.
Provide support to the team to generate projections around key balance sheet and profit and loss items (including but not limited to: non-interest income, non-interest expense, loans and deposits) under various macroeconomic scenarios.
Update charts and tables to help the team explain the results of various scenarios to working groups and governance committees – ensure accuracy is maintained.
Collate input files from various owners or with numbers sourced from the internal management reporting system.
Collate output files for the projections and help create templated results documents to share with working groups and governance committees.
Executes a lot of models and numeric analysis to support C-car submission systems
Update and review results files, documents, tables and charts.
Identify inconsistencies across documents since they may be prepared for different audiences at different times.
Work with the controls team to help remediate any controls issues as they arise through the projection process.
Responsible and diligent – flags issues to the team and manager as they arise
Supporting the correlation input and output and documentation of the analysis to submit to the Federal Reserve board
Qualifications:
A College or University degree in Business, Finance or accounting
3-4 years relevant work experience.
Prior finance and analysis experience (Revenue and Expenses)
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Must be comfortable with numbers
Flexible and adaptable to change
Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning skills, eye to detail
Able to work with multiple deliverables at once
Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
Advanced knowledge in Excel but for the most part - analyzing economic outcomes
