Job Description

• Integrate approved copy into approved design using media and production methods for production of deliverables such as: reports, conference books, posters, specialty items, PDF print and interactive forms, and email announcements.
• Develop original designs and/or integrate revisions to approved design concepts for projects that can include slide presentations, Websites, brochures, advertisements, exhibits, catalogs, direct mail, corporate identity, publications, and packaging.
• Prepare digital files in appropriate formats and dimensions in addition, make electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities (508 compliant).
• Follow federal and corporate branding guides and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must possess minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience.
• Degree or formal training in graphic design (print and digital media), web design, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate proficiency and knowledge in the use of following applications:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe apps a plus)
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other MS apps a plus)
  • Canva
• Professional graphic design portfolio
• Exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work from design briefs to determine a creative direction suitable to government client and project.
• Skillful and strong design and desktop publication layout skills
• Strong digital design and animation knowledge for social media platforms and Web design processes a plus
• Capability to create interactive Portable Document Format (PDF) and PowerPoint presentation that incorporates interaction-encouraging elements such as clickable links, embedded videos, and animated GIFs to name a few.
• Ability to function effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
