Job Description

  SUMMARY: Responsible to collect, manage, interpret and communicate the analysis of collected data from internal and external data sources using different tools and statistical techniques. Provide accurate and reliable reports to company personnel and clients.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: (Employee may perform any combination of the essential functions shown below. Systems 

• In-depth knowledge of NETSUITE financial system. Ability to design and write reports.
• Be capable of answering NetSuite configuration and processes question from Finance Team members and documenting necessary changes in current processes.
• Assist the Finance Team in maximizing the automation capabilities of NetSuite.
• Create workflows, establish respective due dates for completion of reforecasts and budgets, develop final book package.

Budget

• Power user of the NetSuite reporting software,  Adaptive Insights knowledge/experience also required.
• Develop analytical and comparative reports out of NetSuite to facilitate/support management decisions to drive to strategic goals.

General Ledger

• Solid, demonstrable understanding of accounting principles and accounting processes. 
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements to streamline work flows.
• Variance analysis and annotations of markets’ financial results.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Solid understanding of the FP&A role in a global organization.
• Able to assume duties of other analyst as needed.
• Assists in Database administration and design (NetSuite).
• Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly analysis of reservation flow for clients.
• Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly analysis of Revenue, Margins and Client occupancy figures.
• Provides statistical review of Markets (occupancy, clients, revenue figures) to Management.
• Prepares drafts and develops standards for different reports on data management system.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Knowledge of: 

• Database system (NETSUITE). Minimum 4 years of experience with NetSuite
• Proficient in usage of Microsoft Suite.
• Must have project management skills considering all aspects of planning, organizing and coordinating the projects with upper management and executives.
• Should be versatile and have experience of collection and analysis complex data, both narratively and statistically.
• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Increases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements while providing trends and forecasts.
• Solves a variety of problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Abilities: Creative problem solver with “do whatever it takes to get the job done” approach, customer service/positive attitude/approachable, organized, detail-oriented and effective time management skills/ability to multitask. 

• Advanced critical and analytical thinking with attention to detail and high accuracy..
• Ability to design and implement insightful reporting using NetSuite.
• Regularly handles a variety of detailed tasks that require an adherence to quality work while sensitive to errors and mistakes.
• Weighs pros and cons before making any major decision.   Operates within established guidelines and policies.
• Uses abstract thinking skills to discover more effective methods and processes to streamline activities.
• Effectively uses knowledge and experience that is limited to the level of mastery demonstrated.
• Willingly work independently and/or within group setting.
• Some evenings and weekend work may be required, especially at month end and year-end.
