Job Description

A growing Kansas City company is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to add to its expanding team.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties that include:

• High volume accounts payable posting and coding
• 3-way matching
• Setting up new customers
• Reconciliations
• Handle questions from vendors
• Track and update fixed asset software
• Assist with check runs
• Assist with annual 1099

Skills required for Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable processing experience
• Experience with SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting software preferred
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
• Team player with strong communication and customer service skills
