Job Description

One of Kansas City's top employers is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Accounting Specialist to add to their growing team.

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties that include:

• High volume accounts payable posting and coding
• Setting up new customers
• Process accounts receivables that includes invoicing, billing, cash applications and light collections
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Handle questions from vendors
• Track and update fixed asset software
• Assist with check runs

Skills required for Accounting Specialist:

• 2-3 years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word
• Team player with strong communication and customer service skills
