    Job Description

    Please note: This position will support business in all the US. Optimal support locations are in the US Southwest region: CA, AZ, TX, CO, NV.

To support this challenge, Syngenta’s Digital Platforms SPS NA team is currently seeking a Digital Platforms Sales Manager.

    Accountabilities:

    • Lead sales organization for Syngenta Digital Platforms business
    • Organize and develop an effective sales team to execute the Digital Platforms business marketing plan
    • Cultivate a winning team that sustainably serves customer and Digital Platforms business interests alike
    • Maximize relationship with Syngenta SPS team to maximize opportunities for Digital Platforms services
    • Capitalize on new market opportunities to grow customer base and sales revenue
    • Deliver business revenue goals with allotted expense budget for team
    • Communicate market intel reports to support marketing plan development
    • Seek opportunities to expand the addressable market and grow sales
    • Hire and train sales team members
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required for this role
    • Proficient use of Salesforce or similar CRM system
    • Knowledge of golf and the golf industry
    • Up to 50% travel is required for this role
    • All applicants must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship support from Syngenta

    Preferred:

    • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience with demonstrated success in growing market share
    • A minimum of 2 years of sales personnel management experience with demonstrated success in identifying and hiring talented sales team
    • Ability to understand and communicate features and benefits of digital technologies to potential customers
    • Willingness to learn new digital processes to present offers in a professional and industry-leading manner
    • Ability to build and retain a team of focused sales professionals with different experience levels
    • Ability to close deals on technologies that are new to the market
    • Ability to contribute to a vision of success for a new company in a new and rapidly expanding market

    Additional Information

    The salary for this role is $115,500 - $214,500 per year.
