    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Synology America Corp is looking for a highly proactive and dynamic Enterprise Account Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing accounts in a specific business vertical. This position includes heavy collaboration with the Field and Alliance marketing team to create brand awareness within assigned vertical. An ideal candidate will “land & expand” deployments, create customer evangelists, and leverage community engagement events to create new enterprise business opportunities.

    THIS POSITION IS A 50/50 BLEND OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

    ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT MANAGER WILL:

    • Become a SME for Synology NAS products – use this knowledge to support existing customers and increase adoption of product features across their org
    • Locate industry specific community engagement opportunities and collaborate with marketing team to expand awareness within vertical
    • Take over new and existing high priority accounts from lead development team
    • Give demos, virtual and in person presentations to potential and current customers
    • Be able to plan, execute, present and follow up on virtual and in person events across the US and Canada
    • Work with internal stakeholders across teams (Technical Support, Channel Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Operations etc.)

    DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

    EDUCATION:

    • Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college is required
    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four year college or university is preferred

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Four years of relevant experience in Business Development and/or account management
    • Strong understanding of computer hardware components and a working understanding of Network Attached Storage
    • Ability to manage one’s time and projects with minimal oversight
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
    • Experience using Salesforce
    • Knowledge of cloud and on premises storage technologies

    Job Type: Full-time

    This is NOT a direct sales position. This is NOT a commission based position.

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
