POSITION SUMMARY:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our client in synthetic molecule process chemistry. The Organic Chemistry Scientist will be responsible for the design and development of laboratory proof of concept for new, concise synthetic routes to challenging drug substance targets.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand project timelines and deliverables and plan/coordinate project work accordingly with stakeholders.
• Contribute significantly and independently to project work which may include multiple projects within functional area.
• Review, interpret and communicate data within project teams.
• Plan and implement resolutions to technical problems/issues.
• Independently design and execute experiments and report results.
• Proactively analyze manufacturing issues and coordinate potential resolution with the drug substance team.

Qualifications

BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• PhD with 0+ years of relevant industry experience
• Able to troubleshoot critical issues or problems, and determine causes and possible solutions
• Technical writing skills to support authorship of internal technical documents
• Ability to Improve solutions, processes, and deliverables through use of information
• Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is Full Time, Monday – Friday First Shift with support outside of standard hours. Although a remote position, candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Cambridge , MA are encouraged to apply.
