The position offers hands-on involvement in a wide range of infrastructure and development projects, along with opportunities to lead staff, manage clients, and support business growth.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, pile systems, underpinning, and earth support systems
    • Oversee field investigations and construction-phase services (earthwork, grading, deep foundations, ground improvement, excavation support, etc.)
    • Prepare technical reports, proposals, engineering recommendations, and construction documentation
    • Manage projects end-to-end including scope, schedule, budget, and client communication
    • Support and review contract administration (change orders, invoicing, billing)
    • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior engineers and field staff
    • Build and maintain client relationships and support new business development opportunities

    What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
    • PE license required
    • 6+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
    • 3+ years of field experience in geotechnical investigations and construction observation
    • Strong background in deep foundations, grading, subgrade preparation, ground improvement, and excavation support systems
    • Experience preparing technical reports, specifications, and design recommendations
    • Strong project management and client-facing experience
    • Comfortable mentoring junior staff and working in a team environment
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

    Why This Role

    • Join a well-established firm with 55+ years of stability and reputation, now in a growth phase
    • High visibility role with real opportunity to influence projects and teams
    • Mix of technical depth, client interaction, and leadership responsibility
    • Strong path for continued career growth and expanded responsibility
