  • Responsibilities

    GENERAL FUNCTION

    Monitor front desk and perimeter area and assist visitors and staff to ensure proper entry to the facility.

                                                                                                                                                               

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Greet visitors and maintain visitor log.
    • Respond to emergency situations by calling the appropriate emergency service (e.g. police, fire department, ambulance, etc).
    • Answer phone calls and take messages.
    • Communicate appropriately and adequately with the proper authorities as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

      

    SKILLS/ABILITIES

    • Drug Screen and Background Check:  Pass with the ability to maintain throughout employment.
    • Computer Skills: Intermediate including Microsoft office programs and data management.
    • Strong customer services skills
      • Individual must have a strong command of the English language and possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written communication. 
      • The ability to understand, and apply rules, detailed orders and instructions.
      • A working knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures aimed at customer assets (i.e. life and property).

         

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing the duties associated with being a part of a Security Guard Force (Team) responsible for securing and documenting After-Hour activity within a DoD customer facility.
    • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in accurately documenting shift activity in written format through the use of completing a mandatory required Daily Activity Report (DAR) pertaining to incidents occurring within the facility during a perspective shift. 
      • A working knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures aimed at customer assets (i.e. life and property).

       

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
