        Job Overview

        We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable System Administrator to support a large, enterprise-level organization operating in a mission-critical environment. This role is responsible for Windows server system administration and application administration, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of core IT systems.

        The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured environment with established procedures. This position offers the opportunity to support systems that are essential to daily operations and long-term organizational success. Perform other duties as assigned.

        Experience Requirements:

        • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional system administration experience
        • Hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments
        • Experience with application administration and support
        • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls
        • Experience in troubleshooting system and application issues in production
        • Administer, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments
        • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
        • Perform user, group, and security administration
        • Install, configure, and support enterprise applications
        • Apply system updates, patches, and upgrades
        • Troubleshoot and resolve server, application, and system issues
        • Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
        • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
        • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements

        Experience Preferences:

        • Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical systems
        • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
        • Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell preferred)
        • Experience in a regulated or large-scale IT environment
        • Familiarity with monitoring, backup, and security tools

        Physical Requirements:

        • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
        • Ability to respond to on-site or remote support needs as required
        • Occasional lifting of IT equipment (up to approximately 25–30 lbs)

        Education Requirements:

        • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
        • Strong written and verbal communication skills

        Education Preferences:

        • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, VMware)
        • Ongoing professional development in systems administration or infrastructure technologies
