Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable System Administrator to support a large, enterprise-level organization operating in a mission-critical environment. This role is responsible for Windows server system administration and application administration, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of core IT systems.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured environment with established procedures. This position offers the opportunity to support systems that are essential to daily operations and long-term organizational success. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional system administration experience
- Hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments
- Experience with application administration and support
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls
- Experience in troubleshooting system and application issues in production
- Administer, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- Perform user, group, and security administration
- Install, configure, and support enterprise applications
- Apply system updates, patches, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, application, and system issues
- Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
Experience Preferences:
- Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell preferred)
- Experience in a regulated or large-scale IT environment
- Familiarity with monitoring, backup, and security tools
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to respond to on-site or remote support needs as required
- Occasional lifting of IT equipment (up to approximately 25–30 lbs)
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ongoing professional development in systems administration or infrastructure technologies
