    POSITION PURPOSE:

    In support of the Northwind IT Infrastructure organization, this role involves a highly skilled IT professional with a combined expertise in managing traditional on-premise domain infrastructures and developing cutting-edge cloud solutions. As the IT Domain Administrator & Cloud Administrator Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration between our Active Directory environments and modern cloud platforms, driving efficiency, scalability, and security in our IT operations.

    This dual role requires someone with deep technical knowledge, a strategic mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities. You will lead efforts to modernize our IT ecosystem while maintaining the integrity of critical systems.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: **
    Domain Administrator Duties:**

    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows Active Directory domains.
    • Manage user accounts, group policies, permissions, and security settings to ensure a secure and efficient IT environment.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot domain-related issues, including server performance, network access, and directory replication.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for domain architecture and procedures.
    • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance of Active Directory Domain and Cloud solutions.
    • Contribute to the formation and evolution of the HMIS Enterprise Architecture organization.
    • Establish systems, structures, and communication methods that promote accountability for the organizations strategic priorities and major initiatives, fostering alignment and transparency across teams
    • Demonstrated capacity for leading technical process improvement and organizational development initiatives, spanning multiple departments or functions, from conception to completion.

    Cloud Administrator Solutions Architect Duties:

    • Design, build, and manage cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS) to align with business needs.
    • Ensure cloud environments are secure, cost-effective, and optimized for performance.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose scalable cloud architectures.
    • Develop automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and managing cloud resources.
    • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends, implementing innovative solutions when appropriate.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: **
    Education and Experience:**

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 15+ years operational experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Extensive experience in domain/cloud architecture design and implementation.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively.

    Special Requirements:

    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
    • Must be able to obtain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge and or security clearance

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Hanford IT Experience

    ** PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**
    This position is primarily sedentary in nature. The work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. The work may involve exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

    ** WORKING ENVIRONMENT:**
    The work is conducted indoors. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may increase with work activity.
