ANG SIGNAL has an opening for a System Engineer to join our team supporting the federal government in Boulder, CO. The ideal applicant will perform engineering work in the research, development, analysis, and design of Windows products and systems. This work requires the highest degree of creative ability, engineering and programming skills, and independent judgment. The applicant will be required to coordinate and technically lead projects.

We are seeking applicants for a Windows System Engineer position to join our team. The Applicant will configure and maintain a contiguous Active Directory environment in a Federal Government agency. The position will play an integral role in identifying, prioritizing, and resolving critical system related issues.
Primary Responsibilities
Install Windows systems and maintain optimal operation and functionality of all systems/services
Continually upgrade system hardware and software as needed
Develop and update system documentation on a continuous basis
Provide the design, configuration, installation, maintenance, management and upgrade of Windows, and Apple hardware and software systems and associated peripherals
Implement new and/or maintain existing required security policies for all systems/services
Manage web proxy/WAF infrastructure
Manage continuous vulnerability scanning on all Windows systems and mitigate vulnerabilities as required by security policies
Manage and monitor system backups on a continuous basis
Perform file restores and onsite/offsite local tape management and inventory checks
Diagnose and refer system problems after oral or written notification by system users
Qualifications
BS/BA is required
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is desirable
8+ years of experience managing and supporting complex Windows environments
Microsoft expert level certification is required
Very good communicator: written, verbal, emails
Able to multi-task and set priorities
Detail oriented, well-organized with the ability to work with a team or independently under minimal supervision
