Metis is recruiting for a position to support Network hardware & software expertise on a subcontract position in Colorado Springs to support the Combined Orbital Operations Logistics and Resiliency contract.

    Position Summary:

    Desired technical skills include proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, as well as experience with integration frameworks, APIs, and data formats like JSON or XML. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential soft skills, as they enable effective communication, conflict resolution, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. By combining these technical and soft skills, System Integration Engineers can effectively design, develop, and implement integrated systems.

    As a System Integration/Test Engineering:

    Work to be performed at Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

    • Responsible for the development of IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support.
    • Coordinate, develop, and integrate new systems in both physical and virtualized environments.
    • Develop and install upgrades to existing systems.
    • Experience with supporting Windows operating systems.
    • COTS software deployment experience.
    • Develop scripts to improve system administration and deployment automation:
      1. Experience writing scripts
      2. Familiarity with automation tools / scripting
      3. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting (ability to read/understand existing scripts)
    • Troubleshoot issues and provide support across the information system.

    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    Open to various levels, must have experience and be able to demonstrate previous experience performing listed duties.

    Experience

    • Must Meet DOD 8570 Requirement (current Security+ or similar)
    • Strong understanding and application of cybersecurity practices (STIG compliance, system accreditation, etc.).
    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and principles.
    • Exceptional troubleshooting skills.

    LOCATION SPECIFIC REQUIRMENTS : Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado Springs, CO

    SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active DOD SECRET clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance

    Must be a U.S. Citizen to hold a Security Clearance.

    Salary Range:

    The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado is $70,500 - $140,000 depending on experience. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Metis considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
