POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the Lead Account Executive, the System/Network Engineer leads the hands-on execution of the Implementation. The IoT Implementation Engineer will install and configure the Defender for IoT sensors and management consoles at each site, working under the design blueprint.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with base IT/OT personnel to set up traffic mirroring, network taps, or span ports to feed the IoT security sensors, as recommended by Microsoft’s deployment guidance (e.g. placing sensors to monitor required network segments).

They also integrate Defender for IoT with CNIC’s Security Operations Center tools (such as forwarding alerts to SIEM, if required).

Maintenance - this engineer will remain responsible for ongoing upkeep of the solution – applying software updates, ensuring sensor appliances remain operational, and handling any configuration changes post-deployment via our change control process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Previous experience implementing MS Defender

Previous experience with IoT (Internet of Things) implementations.

Active DoD Secret Clearance

IAT II Certification
