North Wind Site Services is focused on providing engineering, program management, environmental remediation services including investigation and characterization, environmental restoration, unexploded ordnance/military munitions response (MMRP), regulatory public involvement services, environmental compliance, logistics, and records and facility management. ** _
POSITION PURPOSE:_**
Diagnoses and solves software, hardware, network and systems problems and provides technical and help-desk type support and advice to over 100 geographically separated users at the 611th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at JB Elmendorf Richardson (JBER) and remote locations throughout Alaska. Other duties include the imaging of hardware, software, and networking for up to 100 users on as-needed basis, serving as Squadron Level cyber security liaison, maintaining and updating software licenses, supporting the 611th CES Automated Civil Engineer System (ACES) maintenance and execution, and supporting hardware and software requirements for their GEOBASE/GIS system. ** _
