Job Description

Insubuy is looking for a system administrator that is experienced in Windows (Required) and Linux (Preferred). Responsibilities will include installing and configuring software and hardware, managing user accounts, and providing technical support.

Experience: 1-2 years

** Key Responsibilities:**

System Maintenance and Optimization:

• Installing, configuring, and updating software and hardware.
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Monitoring system performance and identifying bottlenecks.

Security:

• Implementing and maintaining security measures, such as intrusion detection systems, Microsoft Defender software, all within an Azure environment.
• Monitoring system logs for security breaches and incidents.
• Ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

User Support:

• Providing technical support to end-users, answering questions, and resolving issues.
• Creating user accounts and password reset.

Documentation and Planning:

• Documenting system configurations and procedures.
• Planning for upgrades, new installations, and other IT projects

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking protocols, and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure preferably Azure.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) systems such as Genesys is a plus.
• Customer Service: Ability to provide helpful and timely support to end users.
• Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Ability to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or relevant work experience

Additional Information

This is a remote position, and candidate must be in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area, along with flexibility in work hours and willingness to work on-call. Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. No visa sponsorship or telecommuting. This is a full-time, direct hire position, not contracted.

** Compensation:** $70,000-$80,000 based on insurance industry experience
