Sparc Technology Services Inc is looking for a talented Systems Administrator with a focus on Physical Security to join our growing team in New York, NY. Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain physical security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection

Monitor and administer security platforms, ensuring uptime, performance, and system integrity

Manage user access credentials, badge systems, and security permissions across facilities

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to physical security infrastructure

Coordinate with IT and facilities teams to integrate physical security with network and building systems

Conduct routine system audits, testing, and preventive maintenance

Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in systems administration with a focus on physical security technologies

Hands-on experience with access control systems (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Software House)

Proficiency with IP-based video surveillance and CCTV platforms

Familiarity with networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, and VLANs as they relate to security systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a live environment

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, PSP, or vendor-specific) are a plus

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
