Role Summary
We are hiring a Systems Analyst for IT Operations to support and evolve a highly available, transaction-driven technology environment. This role is responsible for the integration, reliability, and performance of core infrastructure systems, including physical and virtual servers, operating systems, automation platforms, and supporting services.
You will act as a technical authority within IT Operations, partnering closely with infrastructure, security, and operations leadership to ensure continuous service delivery, resilient system design, and effective automation of operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and integrate physical and virtual server environments supporting mission-critical applications
Ensure consistent system availability by monitoring performance, capacity, and operational workloads
Support and improve batch processing, workload automation, and orchestration platforms used in daily and overnight operations
Analyze new operational and business requirements and translate them into system configurations, scripts, and tested automation workflows
Serve as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and systems issues, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions
Coordinate internal teams and external service providers to support infrastructure initiatives and incident response
Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution, ensuring systems can recover within defined objectives
Maintain clear documentation covering system architecture, operating procedures, and recovery processes
Continuously assess operational processes and recommend improvements to increase stability, efficiency, and scalability
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Systems Analysis, or Enterprise Systems Support
Hands-on experience supporting virtualized environments and server platforms
Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems (experience with UNIX-based systems a plus)
Experience supporting batch job scheduling, workload automation, or business process automation tools
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-system issues in high-availability environments
Experience collaborating with vendors or managed service providers
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate both technical and operational requirements
Technical Skills
Server provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
Scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, shell scripting, or similar
Identity and access management concepts, including directory services
Familiarity with databases and data operations in support of production systems
Basic programming or scripting to support automation and system integrations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large-scale or regulated production environments
Exposure to disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability architectures
Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) or workload scheduling platforms
ITIL-aligned operational experience or formal certification
Project-based experience supporting infrastructure or systems initiatives
