Responsibilities include: • Day to day operational support for the SCADA application and its supporting infrastructure. Ensure system availability, stability, and performance. • Investigate and resolve complex system incidents related to SCADA applications, data communications, integrations, and supporting platforms. • Monitor system performance, alarms, and logs to proactively identify issues and coordinate resolution before they impact operations. • Coordinate and support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes. Validate system functionality after updates to ensure operational continuity. • Work closely with infrastructure, network, database, and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure and reliable system operations. • Support integration and data flow between SCADA and other enterprise systems such as data historians • Perform root cause analysis for major incidents and document findings along with corrective and preventive actions. • Maintain and improve operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system documentation. • Support disaster recovery planning, system failover testing, and business continuity activities. • Participate in project initiatives that introduce new features, system upgrades, or infrastructure changes affecting the SCADA environment. • Coordinate with vendors and external partners to troubleshoot product issues, manage support cases, and implement system improvements. • Mentor junior analysts by providing technical guidance, reviewing work, and supporting skill development.
Skills required: • Advanced troubleshooting and system support experience • Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, telemetry, alarms, RTUs, and control system communication • Strong Linux systems background and understanding of Virtual Architecture • Experience with system monitoring tools, log analysis, and performance diagnostics • Familiarity with databases, scripting, or data queries used in system analysis • Knowledge of change management, incident management, and problem management processes • Ability to coordinate across multiple technical teams and operational stakeholders • Strong documentation, communication, and leadership skills
