Are you ready to step into a true Systems Engineer role where you’ll own and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure instead of just maintaining it?
We’re partnering with a leading financial services firm to add a Systems Engineer to their growing technology team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of cloud, on-prem, and Microsoft 365 environments while mentoring others and serving as a key escalation point.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and enhance Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS environments
- Oversee VMware, backup/disaster recovery (Veeam, Rubrik) and on-prem systems
- Act as a go-to escalation point for infrastructure & advanced desktop issues
- Support ongoing cloud migration projects and security initiatives
- Automate processes with PowerShell or Python
- Contribute to business continuity, compliance, and cybersecurity efforts
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-6 years in systems/network administration (enterprise experience preferred)
- Strong Microsoft 365 & Azure background; AWS a plus
- VMware, server infrastructure, and backup/recovery skills
- Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python)
- Bachelor’s degree required; certifications (MCSA, AWS, CCNA) are a plus
Location & Schedule:
- Hybrid role – Boston HQ, 4 days in office, 1 day remote
- Occasional travel (up to ~20–25%) to other U.S. offices
- On-call rotation: one week every six weeks
Compensation & Perks:
- $100K – $150K base salary
