    SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer, Senior to provide technical support to project teams using sound judgment and experience. This role also involves evaluating new technical resources and contributing to systems development and integration efforts.

    Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Independently analyzing the performance of hardware and software interfaces, and identifying alternatives to optimize resource usage and implement modern hardware solutions.
    • Participating in the design, coding, testing, debugging, configuration, and documentation of operating systems and software.
    • Supporting the evaluation and integration of new technical resources.
    • Assisting users with the development and integration of systems and environments.
    • Installing and managing system and user utilities, performing modifications and upgrades, and efficiently diagnosing and resolving system issues.
    • Collaborating with manufacturers and vendors for problem diagnosis and resolution.
    • Planning and executing system version upgrades and managing custom interfaces.

    Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related scientific discipline
    • Ten (10)+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering.
    • Ten (10)+ years of experience in the development, design, and prototyping of requirements.
    • Preferred:
      • Proficiency with Jira and/or Confluence
      • Familiarity with Cameo

    • Ability to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
    • Interior design or sales experience/knowledge a plus but not required.
    • Physically able to be on your feet and move throughout our showrooms over an 8-12 hour work day.
    • Ability to maintain emotional composure in a professional business setting with customers, peers and management.
    • Strong work ethic and dependability a must
    • General computer proficiency
    • Professional dress required

    Work performed in a store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopies and fax machines. Use of personal cell phone for customer contact and follow up and personal computer tablet for room sketching. Regularly required to view, see, manipulate and handle product to demonstrate to customers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee continuously walks or stands on the store’s showroom floor. Stands for extended periods of time. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and required to lift and carry small items up to 30 pounds, such as lamps, etc
