    System Technician Position

    We are looking for a skilled System Technician to join the team and deliver exceptional service to clients. Duties include troubleshooting and resolving technical tickets assigned, following Intrust IT process and procedures. This position requires candidates to have experience resolving issues on workstations, servers, printers, networking infrastructures and client applications.

    System Technician Primary Responsibilities, Activities and Results:

    • Manage tickets assigned to personal queue, maintaining timely notes and client communications

    • Identify tickets that require escalation and follow hand off process for the next level of support

    • Work closely with the service desk, engineers, and client success teams to provide timely support for client needs

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely or travel onsite to client office as needed

    • Office 365 and Active Directory administration

    • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation every few months

    • Set up new computers and users based on specific client needs

    • Assist with project implementations as needed

    • Participate in financial literacy training and open-book management process

    • Keep well informed about current technologies and technical developments

    System Technician Skills and Attributes:

    • Estimate of 2+ years' current experience in a similar position

    • Motivated by serving others and technical problem-solving

    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • A flexible team player embracing collaboration and can shift gears at a moment's notice

    • Experienced in troubleshooting and configuration of various workstation and service operating systems, line of business applications, Microsoft Office products and printers.

    • Experienced in basic network troubleshooting including VPNs, firewalls, switches and wireless solutions

    • Strong communication skills with good ability to explain technical details

    • Can effectively self-manage multiple tasks, tickets or projects simultaneously

    • You are an impassioned learner and always open to receive training, coaching and feedback for continuous improvement
