    Job Description

    About the Role
    The IT Systems and Support Administrator plays a key role in supporting the technology needs of a fast-paced, 24/7 healthcare organization. This position provides hands-on technical support to staff, helps implement new technologies, and ensures critical systems and applications run smoothly. The role works closely with the Operations and Solutions teams to maintain secure, reliable infrastructure while delivering responsive and effective end-user support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide end-user technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues across the organization.

    • Participate in an on-call rotation providing after-hours support for urgent IT needs.

    • Assist with IT upgrades, system implementations, and technology rollouts to ensure smooth adoption by staff.

    • Install, configure, maintain, and support organizational applications.

    • Manage application access, permissions, updates, and security.

    • Collaborate with the Operations team to support system backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.

    • Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

    • Support IT projects from planning through implementation.

    • Assist with additional technology initiatives, training, and special projects as needed.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education

    High School Diploma with Equivalent/Relevant IT and industry experience.

    Minimum Experience

    2 years of End User support experience

    Minimum Field of Expertise

    MS Exchange

    Office Suite

    End User Hardware

    IT Support tools

    Mobile use support/technologies

    Preferred Education

    Bachelors degree OR 5 years full-time IT experience

    Preferred Experience

    5 Years of Application support experience

    5 Years of direct End User Support in Healthcare setting

    Telecommunications Administration

    Skills Required

    Adept in Customer Service

    Functional and Technical Troubleshooting best practices

    Computer hardware break-fix

    Physical Demands

    Moderate physical effort (move/lift/carry up to 25 pounds)

    Occasional prolonged standing/walking

    Lifts supplies/equipment

    Occasional reaching, stooping, bending kneeling, crouching

    Vision Requirements

    Near Acuity: Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less

    Color visions: Ability to distinguish and identify different colors

    Working Conditions

    Subject to many interruptions

    Rare travel to remote Tucson office may be required

    Occasional pressure due to multiple priorities and projects
