Responsibilities: • Maintain and upgrade system software and hardware to ensure optimal performance and security. • Conduct regular system backups and recovery procedures to prevent data loss. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. • Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures to protect company data and systems. • Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to identify and address system-related needs and improvements. • Writing, reviewing, and updating knowledge base articles. • Enforce Team Members to follow knowledge base articles in troubleshooting processes. Qualifications: Educational Background : • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not always required. • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals can be beneficial. Technical Skills : • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems. • Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for hardware, software, and network issues. • Proficiency in using common productivity software such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. • Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. • Knowledge of operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux. • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox). Customer Service Skills : • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner to users. • Patience and empathy when dealing with end-users experiencing technical issues. • Active listening skills to understand user problems and provide effective solutions.
