A leading manufacturing and assembly operation dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers is looking for an experienced Buyer/Planner.
Position Overview: The Buyer/Planner plays a critical role in our operation by managing procurement activities and production planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use Macola MRP/ERP system to maintain production schedules while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to buy and plan materials to support manufacturing.
- Conduct regular analysis of demand forecasts, sales orders, and inventory levels.
- Establish strong relationships with suppliers/vendors, monitor performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to manage inbound/outbound shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using MRP/ERP systems. Macola is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
