Compliance Staff Member

We are seeking a Compliance Staff Member with State Liquor Authority experience for our Gardiner, NY location.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains relationships through effective and timely communication.
- Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up inquiries/issues in a timely manner.
- Gather and enter data into multiple software formats.
- Stays up to date with legal and regulatory changes affecting compliance programs.
- Resolves minor processing problems; seeks assistance from supervisor or other appropriate staff for issues beyond immediate expertise.
- Gathers necessary information and documents to perform brand registrations, monthly audits, and price posting.
- Consistent adherence to State, Federal and Company deadlines.
- Ability to interpret and advise different levels of staff in relation to Federal Basic Permits (TTB), Out-of-State Wholesale licenses, Brand registration, Federal Label Approvals (COLAs, ATF), Sales Representative Permits, Bonds, UPC codes, SLA requirements.
- Ability to read complex regulations and interpret legal and regulatory requirements.
- Occasional Travel to NYC Office for Meetings and Trainings
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Must be able to functionally multi-task on various projects at one time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Highly Detail Oriented
- Basic understanding of office equipment.

Education and Experience:
- 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related analytical discipline.
- Knowledge of Alcoholic Beverage Compliance highly preferred.
- Prior compliance, legal, or regulatory experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
