About this position

As a Treloar & Heisel Intern, you will develop the skills necessary for success by working closely with our Wealth Managers in our corporate office. Throughout this internship, you will gain product knowledge, as well as build and develop client relationships to promote our products and services.

Expectations

A current college student who is interested in learning about financial services. This position is Monday - Friday with working hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm. We will work to accommodate the work schedule with your current class schedule.

Responsibilities

Data entry and daily management of data aggregation links

Generate applications for investment accounts

Create portfolio illustrations on Morningstar

Assist in gathering information from clients for investment accounts

Research retirement plans for case development

Work with Financial Services Associates to identify prospective customers using established lead generation methods

Develop and maintain business relationships with policyholders and investment clients

Learn about insurance and investment products

Learn and become proficient in sales information systems

Assist in the design and implementation of national sales campaigns

Conduct market research for strategic business planning

Requirements

Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.

Must have strong interpersonal skills and follow-up skills.

Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.

Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
