    Job Summary: As a Logistics Compliance & Safety Manager at T3RA Logistics Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operations of our logistics processes. You will be responsible for managing claims and safety-related activities, working closely with carriers, clients, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics, excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience with FMCSA regulations and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Responsibilities:

    Handle claims management and resolution processes, including investigating, documenting, and processing claims related to lost, damaged, or delayed shipments.

    Collaborate with carriers, drivers, clients, and internal teams to gather necessary information for claim settlements.

    Maintain accurate records of claims and related documentation in compliance with company policies, FMCSA regulations, and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Develop and implement safety procedures and policies to minimize accidents and promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential risks and hazards, ensuring compliance with safety standards, FMCSA regulations, and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Monitor carrier performance and address any safety or compliance issues promptly, in line with FMCSA regulations and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding claims and safety matters, promoting awareness of FMCSA regulations and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, trends, and best practices in logistics claims management, safety, FMCSA regulations, and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field, with a focus on claims management and safety, including knowledge of FMCSA regulations and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Utilize technical computer savvy to effectively navigate and utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Fleet Management software platforms for efficient logistics operations.

    Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, insurance claims processes, safety standards, FMCSA regulations, and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve claims efficiently.

    Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and documentation skills.

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with carriers, clients, and internal stakeholders.

    Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and reports efficiently.Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing transportation safety (e.g., FMCSA) and the California Highway Patrol Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program.
