The company is innovative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial in spirit. To continue its strong growth, T3 is looking for an Operations Quality Engineer. Position Summary: The Candidate will help our Quality Engineer and Product Development teams to address issues such as customer returns and field failures to identify customer and manufacturing quality issues. The Candidate will also help evaluate new models for product specification conformance. This role will also be responsible for maintaining a log of historical cases, help analyze trends, complete reports for upper management on a regular basis and lead the company transition to a PLM database. There may be additional responsibilities assigned as role development progresses. Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems including heaters, fans, and motors is a plus. Primary Responsibilities - Setup test stations, and run the test based on testing criteria for each product category - Execute test procedures to verify product performance (velocity, noise level, heat output, etc.) or appearance at each stage of development, as well as validate prototypes for functional innovations. - Gather and analyze data to help guide product development or product continuous improvement decisions - Test competitive products for marketing to conduct market studies and explore new technologies - Help Creating reports and provide analysis of trends and methods to improve product quality and reduce return rates. - Maintain laboratory equipment, tools and supplies. Help Keeping equipment in the lab and at our warehouses calibrated. - Setup prints on the 3D printer and post-process the models to be functional for user studies - Help inputting Data into the PLM database Arena for CAPAs, Engineering Change Requests/Orders, and tickets, Specs, and update Product information sheets. Required Skills and Experience - Undergraduate degree in progress or completed in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering - Current student or recent graduate interested in part-time (20 hours/week) work in the area of product quality & manufacturing operations - Familiarity with common laboratory tools and procedures - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment - Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills - Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently Other Information - Work Schedule: 2-3 days a week - Work Hours: 20 hours per week additional hours may be scheduled depending on requirements - This is not a remote position.
