Job Description

The Industrial Engineer internship will introduce the day-to-day life of being on the warehouse team working closely with operations and CI engineers. You will be introduced to the Value driven culture of TA Services, warehouse operations, lean warehousing concepts, time studies, 5S, value stream mapping & A3 problem solving techniques.

The Industrial Engineer internship will be supporting Operations Team in Columbus with their Technical capabilities such as

• Data collection from Korber using SQL/VBA
• Process KPI reporting
• Time studies & Value Stream Mapping
• Lean Process design

The internship will allow you to gain experience with:

• Standardizing pricing sheet for existing operations.
• Complete 2 A3s for Greenwood & Garrett sites
• A3/CAR database for Multiclient sites in JOT forms
• Site KPI tracking in JOT forms.
• Data Analysis: Op income by Customer, Daily margin reporting tool for Greenwood
• Value Stream Mapping (SILC)

Qualifications

• Earning a degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields
• Ability to work on site in Greenwood Indiana
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
