    We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the process of welding. You will interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the specific welding requirements and follow welding procedures to achieve high-quality welds. As a crucial member of our team, your role will contribute to the overall success of our projects by ensuring that welding operations are executed professionally, accurately, and efficiently. Candidates will also need to have a passion for service and creating an experience that fosters continued engagement.

    Specific tasks include but are not limited to:

    • Perform various welding techniques, including arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, and flame-cutting, in accordance with project requirementsInterpret and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the welding processes, materials, and equipment necessary for specific projects
    • Inspect and assess materials to be welded, identifying any defects or inconsistencies that may affect the quality of the weld
    • Operate welding equipment and tools, such as gas welding torches, welding machines, grinders, and other related machinery
    • Follow all OSHA defined safety standards, which includes the use of personal protective equipment
    • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
    • Measure and align workpieces, using appropriate tools and techniques, to ensure precise positioning prior to welding
    • Weld, bond, and secure metal components, parts, and structures together, using welding techniques and equipment
    • Monitor and adjust welding parameters, such as current, voltage, and gas or gas mixtures, to maintain desired weld quality and penetration
    • Inspect finished welded products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
    • Adhere to safety protocols and standards, use protective clothing and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members, including engineers, fabricators, and supervisors, to ensure smooth project coordination and completion

    Maintain/repair equipment by conducting regular inspections, cleaning, and performing minor repairs, and report any potential issues promptly

    Successful candidates will also possess the following skills & abilities:

    • Proven work experience as a Welder, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of welding procedures, techniques, and equipment
    • Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, arc, and flame cutting
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
    • Familiarity with different types of metals, alloys, and their welding characteristics
    • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision, accuracy, and quality
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while adhering to project deadlines
    • Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures
    • Welding certification from a recognized institution is preferred
