    The TAIT Internship program is a fully immersive, experiential program. Interns are placed in a department based on their major and interests, but it is up to them to set goals and define their experience at TAIT. IT Interns will work in the infrastructure wing of our global IT group. IT Interns will provide active technical assistance and support to the broad employee base. Independent operation, team collaboration, and escalation of complex problems to management will be required. This is a 10 week internship from June to August. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the planning and implementation of cloud architecture for existing applications
    • Participate in development of cloud migration roadmap, where assessing best fit per requirements and overall landscape
    • Continually look for process or procedure improvements, and make any necessary documentation of the improvements to flowcharts and checklists
    • Train staff on updated systems and procedures when necessary
    • Investigate appropriate areas of potential problems and determine resolutions

    Qualifications:

    • A self-starter with the ability to work independently

    • Proven and demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects and deadlines

    • Excellent written and verbal communication

    • Ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

    • Should be well-organized with a good attention to detail

    • Strong work ethic
