The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work across multiple levels of leadership and build transparent and collaborative relationships both inside and outside the Subcontractor team. The individual will be approachable, collaborative, and trustworthy, adaptable to business changes, data driven and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit new 1099-subcontractor crews and 1099 individuals across the TAK footprint to achieve strategic sourcing needs as defined by forecasts and projects.
- Leverage various channels such as personal networks, social media, blogs/forums, Google/Boolean searches and select sourcing tools to attract passive subcontractor profiles.
- This role will include strategic sourcing, reach outs and cold calls, pre-screening, and field recruiting.
- Follow-up communication with leads generated through external marketing channels.
- Interface with TAK operations to ensure successful onboarding of new technicians and Business Partner groups.
- Advocate TAK values to potential and existing subcontractors that supply resources to perform Installation, Drop Bury and Construction services to our customers.
- Respond to inquiries from potential technicians and subcontractor crews regarding TAK sourcing needs.
- Partner with operations and the subcontractor team to identify current and future technician needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 – 3 years of recruitment in telecommunications/cable industry OR sales experience.
- Strong cold calling skills with a willingness to aggressively reach out to potential and qualified candidates.
- Passionate about the hunt for talent – building and maintaining a network of candidates/sources through various channels.
- Must be able to communicate in a courteous and professional manner
- Self-starter.
- Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, make decisions, and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines required.
- Adaptability and being able to work individually and in a team environment.
- Ability to network via social media and other professional platforms.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
