TALtech Inc. is a Philadelphia-based software company. In business since 1988. We are seeking a part-time customer service and office manager. Hours are flexible approximately 3 hours per day including every weekday morning. We are located near the Art Museum in Center City Philadelphia. Applicant must speak clearly, listen well and be intelligent, organized, cheerful and an independent learner Requirements - Professional, organized & responsible. You will be running the day to day operations of a small software company. - Excellent computer skills, especially MS. Office. Quickbooks experience a plus. - Excellent written and oral communications skills. - Must truly enjoy helping people and providing amazing service to them. - If you have other skills such as search engine optimization or marketing please let us know. - Office experience and/or some college business courses preferred. Duties will include: - Answering sales and customer support questions about our software products mostly by email but also by phone. - Entering orders into Quickbooks and organizing packing/shipping if needed. - Billing customers, applying payments. - Paying bills. - Filing bills and orders. - Registering Customers and providing unlock codes - Other duties that you may be interested in. You will be expected to work in our office every morning for 2 to 3 hours (somewhere between 9 am and 1 pm). There will usually only be one other person in the office! Additional work can be remote. Salary dependent on skills and experience. Students with appropriate backgrounds and skills are welcome to apply. The position is long-term so it is NOT appropriate for internships.
