PURPOSE
The purpose of the Content Creator role is to assist Tamarak and its portfolio companies with strategic, creative content solutions such as video, photo, and social media campaigns. Collaborate with the greater Tamarak family of companies in a variety of creative mediums to strengthen visual and written content presence for the portfolio. As a member of the creative and marketing team, the content creator will be a team player in helping Tamarak achieve big-picture goals while keeping a responsible timeline, excelling in communication, and honoring deadlines
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle pre-production, on-location and on-set production, and post production editing for both video and photo content.
Utilize Tamarak and portfolio brands to strengthen visual content presence at events, online, social media, etc.
Be able to build, strategize, write, and direct various campaigns
Buy into and deeply understand the vision of our family of diverse brands to excel at storyboarding/conceptualizing creative visual content.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and creative teams to create video and photography that inspires and converts.
Stay on trend with conceptualizing and executing successful creative content in specific industries.
Make technical decisions regarding elements such as location, frame rate, lenses, lighting, shooting angle, framing, set dressing, etc.
Work closely with marketing team and portfolio executives to present a final product that captures the vision of the brand and project.
Operate as an expert in your craft and offer valuable input with the ability to respectfully receive feedback as well.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Either a creative bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience with video and photo.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
A flexible, anything-is-possible attitude—you see challenges as opportunities and know how to sell ideas with positivity and poise
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
Strong attention to detail—you don’t just create beautiful work, you deliver it on time and error-free
Ability to capture the vision of brands and creatively convey and connect brand messages with unique and engaging visual imagery.
The ability to communicate and collaborate with the team and stakeholders of all experience levels, from junior marketers to the C-suite
