Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Person to join our team at Hunterdon Media Partnership.
As an Advertising Sales Person, you will be responsible for selling advertising space on our online local news platform and for our local print newspaper.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and acquire new clients by actively reaching out to potential advertisers
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs and objectives
- Present advertising options and packages tailored to meet clients' requirements
- Negotiate and finalize advertising agreements with clients
- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the print and online newspaper industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong prospecting and networking abilities
- Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with advertising platforms and digital marketing trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the local market and community is a plus
Compensation:
Compensation is based on selling performance. The more ads you sell, the higher your earning potential. There is no cap, giving you the opportunity to earn income based on your performance.
