Job Summary

We are currently seeking a personable and enthusiastic Shift Supervisor Trainee to join our team! This role is designed to prepare you for the position of shift supervisor within our store. You will begin your journey with us as a Barista, where you will play a crucial role in welcoming customers to our bubble tea shop and meticulously crafting their orders to perfection. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that each patron not only enjoys their beverages but also relishes their overall experience at our establishment.

As you hone your essential drink-making skills, we will provide comprehensive training in managing customer relationships, leadership, shift management, and ultimately, how to oversee a shift. This will encompass tasks such as proper prep work, labor management, sales management, food safety, and handling emergency situations.

Upon mastering these skills and completing the required tasks, you will undergo a shift assessment. During this assessment, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to run a shift as a supervisor. Successful completion of the assessment will lead to a promotion to the role of shift supervisor. This promotion marks just the beginning of your career journey with our company. As a shift supervisor, you will have the chance to progress further into roles such as assistant general manager and ultimately, store manager.

Responsibilities:

Welcome customers into the bubble tea shop with a smile

Take food and beverage orders

Explain the menu items to customers

Create a variety of drinks, from basic to more complex

Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency

Bus tables and wipe down surfaces

Maintain a clean work environment

Ability and willingness to learn the required development items to become a shift supervisor

Qualifications:

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

Willingness to learn how to make beverages

Excellent customer service skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for extended periods

Commute to work without assistance
