    THIS IS A NON-EXEMPT (HOURLY) POSITION, BASED IN SILVER SPRING, MD.

    Under the supervision of the Senior Director, Monitoring and Compliance, this position will support the ICE Monitoring and Evaluation contract and other projects as needed. Responsibilities include writing, formatting, editing and updating documents, creating PowerPoint presentations, conducting quality assurance/quality control reviews of deliverables, coordinating meetings and training events, developing and monitoring schedules, drafting and managing consultant task orders and developing work plans. Activities include regular client interface.  Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, project calendars, and expenditures.
    • Coordinate projects and ensure quality deliverables often working with consultants or subcontractors.
    • Undertake project tasks as required for ICE and other project managers as needed.
    • Monitor project deadlines and determine changes.
    • Ensure project tasks adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately.
    • Prepare, edit, and contribute to various correspondence, reports, and other written materials.
    • Develop and assess requests for proposal and provide recommendations to program director.
    • Organize, attend, prepare materials, and participate in project, client, and other stakeholder meetings.
    • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
    • Provide operational, technical, and administrative support as needed.
    • Assist Project Director with assessing project risks and developing strategies while providing recommendations and solutions where applicable.
    • Create and maintain data in MS Access database or other data collection systems.
    • Draft consultant task orders, travel, and expense reimbursements.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and government, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines.  
    • Conduct research, synthesize, and report findings.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Able to pass limited trust background investigation.
    • Able to work independently at DHS/ICE Headquarters as needed.
    • Able to travel outside of Washington, DC Metro area a few times per year.

    Required Experience

    Education: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
