We are a well-established B2B Insuretech e-commerce firm, aggressively expanding into new markets, and we need your expertise!

The Doyle Group (TDG) Web Department is looking for a proactive, Mid-Level Web Developer, who can quickly learn various systems, platforms and frameworks, and tackle frontend/backend code and other technical challenges.

You will be writing code, testing and debugging, managing expectations, and building reports. You will be on the lookout for potential issues and bottlenecks related to a variety of projects. You will be expected to get your hands dirty with testing and debugging.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who can spearhead requirements gathering from non-technical departments, then organize and communicate between team members. Someone who can assess and prioritize while facilitating constructive communications between departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be able to jump in on web development projects, both front and backend

  • Frontend: JavaScript, React JS and jQuery
  • Preferred Backend: PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
  • Working knowledge of Git

• With a heavy focus on ROI, prioritize all incoming project requests, gather requirements while conveying clear and concise details between various teams and stakeholders, ensure that deadlines are met in a timely fashion and keep all involved parties updated on the progress of all project

• Pull accurate reports for office staff and upper management upon request

  • MySQL, Google Analytics and other potential reporting tools as needed

• Optimize efficient workflows throughout organization

• Advanced understanding of SDLC, UAT and other debugging procedures and concepts. As Lead QA Tester, manage and evangelize Quality Assurance and Functionality Testing to ensure positive usability and experience for our customer base

• Investigate and identify customer and system issues. Provide the assistance and research to resolve which solutions you will implement alongside the rest of the Web Development Team

• Serve as a mentor to enable non-technical team members to become more self-sufficient with data, content creation, and related tools. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Mid-level understanding of JavaScript/jQuery/React preferred

• Background working with CRMs and MAs, preferably Sales Force and Marketing Cloud

• Advanced understanding of HTML and CSS; including the ability to write media queries for mobile development

• Prior knowledge and experience of automated testing tools such as Selenium or Katalon

• Familiarity with various Business Intelligence and Data Viz tools

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical co-workers

• Problem solving and forward-thinking mentality

• Advanced understanding of MySQL queries and how to accurately pull efficient reports from databases; including performing table joins and sub queries

• Advanced Debugging Skills: Solid understanding of how to provide useful debug feedback through developer tools

• A great attitude and willingness to always learn more technical skills!
