National, B2B publishing and digital media company is looking for an Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate will have experience selling integrated marketing plans, with an emphasis on digital channels and/or agency-based solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Eager, enthusiastic, creative, self-motivated, strategic with a go-getter attitude
- Prior sales experience, 4+ years minimum verifiable online and print media sales, advertising or agency experience.
- Experiencing selling and managing digital channels such as PPC, email marketing, SEO, surveys, etc.
- o Able to adjust communication style and level of discussion to reflect and compliment knowledge of the client
What Success Looks Like
- Attain mutually agreed upon monthly sales goals
- Garner a complete understanding of our products, processes, systems, advertisers, etc.
- Master and maintain strong knowledge of market needs, competition and latest industry news and trends
- Ramp up quickly with a focus on high activity
- Able to identify and establish prospect lists through various methods of research
- Able to develop and concisely deliver simple to complex client presentations
- Close $200,000 in new business in first 6 months
- Passion for all things related to marketing/advertising to include self-study in off hours
Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to sell digital advertising, print advertising and agency solutions
- Willingness to make outbound sales calls
- Build long-term relationships to cultivate sales from prospect to close over 3-4 month period, or longer in some cases
- Potential travel as needed <20%
