Job Description

We are seeking an AV Installation Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will design and implement home control systems for our residential customers.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive, onsite audiovisual installations for residential and commercial applications

The AV technician should have a good foundation and background in Audio video concepts and configurations. The individual should be able to help design a system as well as perform all the connectivity required to make the system work. 

This will include, but not be limited to:

• Cable run testing and labeling
• Crimping and terminating cables. Common cabling includes Cat5, 6 and audio cables. 
• Equipment Rack setup and mounting all AV equipment. Should have good experience neatly mounting, labelling all equipment. 
• Connecting and testing all AV equipment to ensure they are operational. 
• Basic network setups. The engineer will not be required to design network solutions but should be familiar with network basics to be able to setup a router, switch and perform all necessary connections.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in audio video setup and configuration. 
• Home theater, whole home video, music room and control automation
• Knowledge of basic network setup, 
• Automation system programming experience either Control4, Creston or any others.
