    Job Description

    TDI is looking to hire an experienced ADMINISTRATOR/CONTRACTS ASSISTANT to join our team.  The ideal candidate shall possess experience reviewing, negotiating, and administering various types of government contracts and subcontracts.  The Contract Administrator will administer Prime Contracts as well as subcontracts and will interface with contracting officers, technical points of contact, contractors, TDI program managers and other TDI employees. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Support (DFARS) is crucial to ensure contract compliance.   

    A successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and have the ability to manage projects independently to completion.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform ongoing contract and subcontract administration activities for a portfolio of contracts in accordance with established company, customer, and government regulations.
    • Preparation of 75% / 85% limitation of cost / funds letters; requests for additional funding; modifications to implement changes to contract and subcontract agreements; and other complex contract actions.
    • Administer, monitor, and track contract activities and ensure compliance with contract terms.
    • Review, monitor and track deliverables and reporting requirements
    • Submit monthly government reports to meet CDRL requirements.
    • Prepare contract close-outs.
    • Process modifications and briefs for both prime and subcontracts.
    • Respond to current contract Request for Quotes.
    • Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks.
    • Review and negotiate terms and conditions on all new contracts and subcontracts as well as consulting agreements.
    • Coordinate with legal counsel on new or unusual terms and/or agreements to ensure protection of company interests.
    • Prepare and review Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum 5+ years of experience with government contract administration preferably with DoD.
    • Experience with all contract types, including Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Time and Materials, and Incentive Fee.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required.
    • Experience in contract negotiation, administration, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, and other corporate legal documents such as non-disclosure.

     

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Deltek experience preferred
    • Proposal pricing experience preferred
    • Strong analytical skills required

     

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Proficient with computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Keen attention to detail with an ability to spot errors.

     

    TRAVEL: Less than 10%

     

    LOCATION: King of Prussia – Temporarily remote under our remote work policy.

     

    CLEARANCE LEVEL: Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
