Summary:TDK Corporation of America seeking a Systems Analyst / SQL Developer for a position located in Lincolnshire, IL (Hybrid). The candidate will be responsible for writing documentation to describe current business processes, application database and operating procedures. The candidate is expected to consult with users/IT team members to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. This candidate will be a contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and migrating database application supporting business processes with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. The candidate is expected to Interact with the team in highly collaborative and cooperative environment.

To be considered for this job, candidates are required to have the following skills and experience:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Document current business processes, application database and operating procedures.
• Experience with SQL Server 2019 including Stored Procedures, DTSX Packages etc.
• Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new and existing technology.
• Analyze and provide solutions for complex tasks, providing design documentation as required
• Work with team lead and product owner to understand business requirements to ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet new environment
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Provide accurate and timely estimates for project tasks
• Exhibit solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Exhibit excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Conduct code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high-quality standards

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 20012/2019 working with relational models to extract, transform and manipulate data
• A thorough understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Strong Experience creating stored procedures, views, triggers, and indexes.
• Strong experience with SSIS and some experience SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Strong Experience in SQL Server DTS packages
• Experience in implementing and maintaining Relational Databases
• A demonstrated understanding of object-oriented coding design and concepts
• Experience with SQL patching, updates, upgrades
• Demonstrated SQL development and project work
• Experience in scripting language

Beneficial Skills:

• Experience with C#.net MVC
• Experience in PHP 5, 7.4, MySQL, Lavarel, Apache Gitlab
• Data Warehousing experience
• Microsoft Office Products, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Visio
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Excellent communication skills are a must

Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires the use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop, and cell phone. Most work is completed in an office environment.
