    About the Role: Missions Engagement Advisor will expand TEAM’s recruiting and mobilization efforts by focusing on new partnerships, multiplying referral networks, and discipling/resourcing future global workers prior to application with TEAM. In addition to representing TEAM at regional and national missions events, Missions Engagement Advisors will cast a vision for TEAM’s work around the world, mobilizing the Church to greater mission. This role seeks to engage and mobilize networks already associated with TEAM such as supporting churches, alumni, and retirees, as well as promoting industry-standard excellence in mobilizing new networks to expand TEAM’s sending reach. Missions Engagement Advisors are responsible for innovatively developing leads into relationships and furthering current partnerships in order to mobilize more global workers.

    Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategy and best practices around the identification, cultivation, and engagement of North American churches as key partners in TEAM’s global work

    Create and implement outbound campaigns to engage future partners, mobilizers, and candidates

    Research, understand and engage with missiological trends to resource our partner churches and internal strategies

    Represent TEAM at church events, universities and seminaries, missions conferences and events

    Maintain a big-picture understanding of TEAM vision and knowledge of ministry areas to accurately communicate opportunities for current and future partners

    Host trainings and networking events to connect with TEAM stakeholders and future partners

    Encourage, train, and empower current volunteer mobilizing networks to creatively expand TEAM’s mobilization reach

    Create structure for providing relational excellence to current and future church partners

    Build and maintain a caseload of key relationships for missions referrals and strategic partnerships

    Meet with peers and supervisor in regular meetings for prayer, collaboration, reporting, planning, and administrative matters

    Qualifications of the Role:

    This is a ministerial position and the following ministry-related qualifications are of paramount importance:

    Able to cast a biblical missions vision for those presently unengaged in missions

    Able to provide godly coaching and direction to those presently moving towards global worker service

    Able to assess global worker candidates’ spiritual maturity and readiness for international service with TEAM

    Able to resource and serve the local church in their efforts to mobilize their own people towards global worker service

    This job also requires an individual to be:

    Spiritually mature with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ

    Skilled relationally, loving people and inspiring people for greater mission

    Skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing

    A self-starter with a track record of successful planning, execution, and follow-through to accomplish agreed upon metrics, goals, and outcomes

    Knowledgeable in a wide spectrum of local church contexts and their needs regarding engagement in global missions; prior church staff service is preferred

    Experienced in content and email marketing

    Experienced in Salesforce or similar CRM system preferred

    Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required

    Fluent in a second language a plus

    Quick to laugh and has a good sense of humor
