Account Manager Job Duties:
- Manage all aspects of benefit plan setup for a select client base.
- Meet with client contacts to discuss benefit plan design options and present at employee benefit meetings when needed.
- Form relationships with existing clients.
- Maintain benefit plan information in TEC internal database.
- Respond to client phone and email inquiries. Analyze and resolve client questions.
- Assist in office administration to include; mailings, faxes, copying and special projects as needed.
- Obtain Pennsylvania Health, Life and Accident Insurance License.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associate degree with equivalent experience
- Account management and/or health insurance experience required
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Competent math skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of honesty and integrity
