    • Maintains OSHA 300 records
    • Completes pre-qualification safety packets for companies that subcontract with Company
    • Provides help with the DOT program including maintaining complete DOT files, conducting annual driving record checks, and managing drug testing
    • Investigates incidents, near misses, and unsafe working conditions and recommends remedial action
    • Reviews, edits, and approves Site Specific Safety Plans in partnership with Health and Safety Manager
    • Inspects and reports on adequate supplies of safety equipment including respiratory inventory, SCBAs, air monitoring equipment, and Drager tubes
    • Analyzes work environments to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, radiological, and biological agents or ergonomic factors that impact a worker’s comfort or fatigue.
    • Helps ensure compliance with federal and state environmental/occupational health and safely regulations by completing required reports, posting notifications, maintaining records, implementing controls, and developing and implementing practices and programs
    • Routinely reads, interprets, and analyzes EHS information, laws, and technical journals
    • Regularly solves practical EHS problems and deals with a variety of variables, and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or related field

    • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) credential or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential preferred

    • Two or more years of industrial and/or construction EHS experience

    • Valid driver’s license with clear motor vehicle record

    • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification

    • Able to organize and prioritize multiple projects with multiple subtasks simultaneously daily

    • Able to communicate verbally and in writing

    • Frequent reaching, grasping, and handling of items, and visually and aurally perceiving attributes of objects and materials on a regular basis without restrictions

    • Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds

    • While protected by appropriate safety controls, occasionally be exposed to non-hazardous and hazardous work environments including contaminated air, soil, dust, fumes, smoke, and other toxins.
