Our client is a leading health information technology consulting company. They have consistently provided work products that have led to improvements in the health and well-being of patients. They are looking for a SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER to partner with them as they continue enhance and support the capabilities of health organizations and providers by providing high quality consulting services, strategic planning, software development and software hosted as a service. 

As Software Engineer, you will develop new systems and maintain legacy systems that will help clients to respond to challenges including but not limited to COVID-19. You will support the full lifecycle of application development in a small team environment employing agile methodologies. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze and design software systems
• Develop design documents
• Estimate effort
• Develop source code and implement specifications
• Maintain, enhance, and support legacy applications and services
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing
• Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 3+ years of UI web development experience
• Experience working remotely
• History of writing clean, well-documented code
• Familiarity with build tooling (e.g. WebPack, Bower, Grunt)
• Familiarity with UI design tools (e.g. AdobeXD, Storybook, Figma)
• JSP/JSF experience is a plus
• PrimeFaces experience is a plus

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Solid troubleshooting skills
• Web Frameworks
• Component-based development
• JavaScript Templating Frameworks (e.g. React, Vue)
• CSS-in-JS (e.g. Styled Components)
• Immutable State Engines (e.g. Flow, Redux)
• Agile methodologies and tools
• Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Performance Testing
• Git and GitOps
